Chiropractic is the third largetst health care profession in the world and is primarily concerned with the function of the structure (muscles, bones and joints) and the effect of this on the nervous system. The spine is the focus for chiropractors as dysfunction is believed to affect health generally.
All chiropractors are registered with The General Chiropractic Council, the statutory body for chiropractors in the UK.
The clinic offers free advisory no obligation consultations and we are always happy to discuss your individual needs by phone on 023 8027 3545.
Vanessa Churchill BSc (Hons)(Chiro) DC
Vanessa qualified as a chiropractor in 1999 and was one of the first chiropractors to register with the General Chiropractic Council and join the College of Chiropractors. She is a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association and the UK Chapter of Applied Kinesiology.
Vanessa is particularly interested in helping her patients to reach their individual health potential using non-invasive approaches. She has attended over 1000 hours of continuing professional development, and is particularly interested in the relationship of the structure to the whole body.
Having had three children, Vanessa understands the stresses and strains of pregnancy and childbirth and the physical demands of young children on a mother. She is also sympathetic to the needs of people in later life.
She dances argentine tango for which good posture and balance are essential. In the past she was a keen competitive sportswoman, playing netball and doing high jump, and she has also been a gymnast and practised yoga.
