I have had in excess of 30 years experience within advanced technology environments including Aerospace and Defence, Mass Transportation, Petrochemical, Power Utilities and Construction, where he has centered generally in the generation and implementation of Project Management, Systems, Processes, Plans and Procedures, (both generic and project specific) for Organisations and Major National and Multi-National Projects.

Experience

After a period with the Ministry of Defence I progressed into industry as a self employed consultant. I have developed and implemented the various processes required within Safety, Quality & Configuration Management and the Auditing & Assessment processes within project life-cycles including Safety and Mission Critical Systems. These include Systems on the Panavia Tornado, Euro fighter 2000 and Signalling and Control Systems for London Underground on the upgrade of the Northern Line and Jubilee Line, development and management of the systems HAZOP, of the new Northern Line

In 1997 I joined Trident Risk Management as an independent consultant and was responsible for providing expertise into projects involving the Operations Management of the Organisation as well as Quality Systems & Safety Assurance, Technical Risk Management requirements for the various projects within the organisation.

In 2004, following the acquisition of Trident Risk Management by a competitor, I returned to independent consultancy and was retained by EMT (Empresa Municipal. de Transports) on the new Palma Subsurface Metro System. Following the completion of the project I set up a design consultancy in Germany supplying contract personnel to EADS Ottobrunn, Munchen. The company now has offices in Hamburg and employs 13 people.

In 2007 I invested in SO Direct and together with Sarah Olney we are growing the company.
