Sue Parsons (Vamonos Training & Development)
Vámonos Training & Development is an independent training organisation focused on developing teams to improve their performance and deliver to the bottom line. As the owner and lead facilitator, I have 31 years experience in the retail sector with a major blue chip company, and over 15 years in the voluntary sector.
I design and deliver bespoke team development events, which will help your team members get to know each other better, understand and value their differences and gain their commitment to improving performance. As a qualified practitioner, I use the Myers Brigg Type Indicator, to identify how people like to work, take in information and make decisions.
When teams are underperforming, facing change or restructure, or worried about the economic climate, then investing time in them can really help your organisation. Research shows that those organisations which invest time and training in their staff are 2.5 times more likely to succeed than those which don't.
I am an experienced facilitator and trainer with 31 years experience with a major blue chip retailer. During the last 13 years, I've had a variety of training roles in both Head Office and the Retail environment, designing and delivering training. I also have wide experience of the voluntary sector, both as a volunteer, and in a professional capacity. I've worked with teams at all stages of their development.
Early in 2009 I jumped at the chance to leave the corporate world, and set up my own training business, a dream I'd had for a number of years.
I'm passionate about team development, seeing it as the cornerstone of successful business. I'll work with you to analyse your needs, and then develop and facilitate the solution.
