Kate Elliott (29) is a joint Managing Director of Active Marketing & Design Ltd.

Kate is the one who talks and writes too much. She also handles the bulk of the client management, taking briefs and keeping projects on track. As the networking queen of Norwich, when she isn't writing PR or copy for websites she can usually be found out and about getting Active and securing new clients. Kate started her career marketing an equestrian tourist attraction and still retains an interest in the rural sector through freelance writing for magazines and websites.

Before founding Active Marketing & Design Ltd in March 2006, Kate was Client Manager for a South Norfolk PR and Marketing Agency, where she took full responsibility for all aspects of client management and copy writing for a broad portfolio of clients. With an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to interpret client's instructions to produce results every time, she took the PR section of the agency to new heights.

Prior to this, Kate worked for the International League for the Protection of Horses (now World Horse Welfare), where she was instrumental in the opening and running of their £2m visitor facilities at Snetterton. With responsibility for a full programme of special events, she gained extensive experience in events management and marketing within the tourism sector. She received first class marks for her dissertation into the marketing of an equestrian venue, based on ILPH Hall Farm.

Kate lives with her partner, Robert, and Jack Russell, Missy, on the outskirts of Norwich and is a keen Norwich City fan!
