I have worked in financial services for nearly 25 years.

After leaving school, I worked with Eagle Star Insurance Co for 4 years before joining Barclays Direct Mortgages.

13 years later, I decided it was time to move on - I joined a small estate agency as their in-house mortgage adviser. After 3 years, I wanted to try something new, so did a bit of consultancy work, worked for a bank for a while, and then decided to go self-employed - the rest is history!!

I live & work in Drighlington (where?!!) a village between Leeds & Bradford in West Yorkshire with my lovely wife and two beautiful sons (7 years old & 1 year old) - and not forgetting Floyd, our insane Dalmatian!!

In my spare time, I enjoy mountain biking, walking in the Dales/Lake District, snowboarding (but not as often as I'd like!) and karate - and I've just started to learn to play the guitar (mid life crisis!).

Oh, and I love my job!
