My Company Information

With their experience in window treatments, plus years of helping people find inspiration and define their style for their homes, it was a natural step for Maxine and her husband Neil to open their own business. This has expanded and grown into one of the best respected window product companies in the county.

Bespoke Blinds & Poles are the only Inspiration Dealers for Luxaflex Blinds & the only Stockists of S:Craft Shutters and Markilux awnings in South Yorkshire. What this means to you is that you  get to browse their two showrooms for window shading products in an inspirational, albeit relaxed environment; safe in the knowledge that advice received is sensible, practical, and often delivered with a dose of good humour.

As well as the well-known, traditional blind and pole options, Bespoke Blinds & Poles specialise in plantation shutters, conservatory roof shading, awnings, external shading and bay window shading solutions.

As active members of the BBSA (British Blind and Shutter Association) they fully endorse and support the "Make It Safe" campaign, raising awareness about child safety. Get in touch if you want further information or to discuss an aspect of blind safety in your home/ workplace

Maxine always throws out a challenge- find her a window that they cannot dress!

About Maxine Hayter

My background is retail; including sales, training, development roles and mentoring both in the UK and abroad.
On and off over the years, I've found myself selling, advising and training people on home furnishings- my passion for this subject drawing me back time and again.

Outside of work, I hike over hill and dale, usually accompanied by  husband Neil and Border Terrors (no mis-spell!), Baxter and Bill.

A prolific reader, there are few books I won't tackle, although I do return time & time again to Terry Pratchett. I also love music, especially rock, and try to get at least one or two conerts each year. An avid cook (NOT chef!), I have recently discovered a talent for soup making, much to the joy of my husband, and the dismay of my waistline.
