My University background has been an HND in Business and Finance and a degree in Interior Architecture. After working as a freelance designer in Interior Architecture in London for 12 years, I found long hours commuting, working, the stress of project managing in addition to designing and detailing for build on site and not having much of a life outside of work were taking too much of a toll. I had a very successful career with many of my design being built but I decided I wanted to move on. I also wanted to persue my motor racing passion and my ability as a sportswoman.
Design projects include:
Jigsaw womenswear stores/concessions, many projects for Madame Tussauds, Itsu sushi bars inc the infamous bar/restaurant in Piccadilly (chosen to work directly with Julian Metcalfe one of the founders of Pret A Manger and founder/owner of Itsu), Muji store in Nottingham to name a few.
I then revisited my interest in business/economics and trading. My Grandfather used to trade options and was very successful so was influenced by his interest in the Stockmarket, shares etc. I learnt how to trade FTSE 100 stocks 5 years ago, moved onto trading Indicies briefly and then to Forex. Trading the Forex market gives you control. Control of the hours you work/trade, how much money you make, what you risk, when you pay yourself, where you work and there's no waiting for invoices to be paid, orders to come in from clients/customers etc. Above all there will always be a Forex market so no stress about whether your industry will dry up or be hit by a recession.
The Forex (Foreign Exchange) market is based on global trade and global currencies - so there will always be a Forex market and currencies to trade. You can trade part-time for extra income or full-time so you can fit trading the Forex market into your daily routine and your own circumstances.
