The business-focus is primarily Wedding and Commercial Photography but we cover all types incl Portraits, Events and Portfolios. Typically we operate within a 25 mile radius of Doncaster but will travel further subject to travel/time cosiderations.

Framework Doncaster offers clients a personal, flexible service and is able to provide customers with professionally taken photographs in the way they want them taken. We capture your special occassions with quality, memorable images for you to treasure. For businesses we are able to create images to enhance you advertising and marketing media or to give your company a "personality". For example, we often find with many small businesses it is the proprietor who is the "business" and we are able to project their personality visually to exploit their marketability.

Part of the Framework service is the offer of a free consultation to discuss your requirements. If you are unsure exactly what you need we are experienced enough to help you through the options available and create the vision you desire. We offer: -

- Traditional or Contemporary Styles in: -

- "vibrant colour"

- "classy black & white" or

- "colour on black & white" or a mix of all of these.

Our Photographer David Skeldon is qualfied to City Guilds I, II and III but he has also benefited from in-depth professional training delivered by a large nation-wide photographic studio. This training was not only in the techinical skills of professional photography but also how to work with people and create a relaxed, comfortable environment to ensure great images are achieived from every shoot. David's professional experience stretches back to 2002 and Framework Doncaster began trading from late 2007.

About Steve Skeldon

My career has been primarily in the Rail Industry and specifically in the support of engineering services for locomotives and rolling stock. My early career primarily involved the supply and manufacturing of materials for rail vehicles - building new coaches, the repair of older vehicles and latterly in the logistics of supplying train spares all over the UK and abroad. Originally based in Derby, I relocated to Eastleigh, (Hampshire) for a new challenge and environment. Finally I transferred to Doncaster in the 1986 to take-up a key role in the creation of a new rail business on the site of the former British Rail Engineering Ltd, locally known as "The Plant Works". I stayed with the business and it became hugely successful as the UK's leading company in the supply of rail vehicle spares. Eventually, the business was sold in 1996 and came under the ownership of one of the UK's largest private companies, Unipart. I left the business in 2007 when it was turning well over £100M and producing profits that were among the best in the Group.

During my 38+ years in the rail industry my career changed paths many times. The first half was primarily involved with inventory control and purchasing but developed into a more general and project management role in the second half with Quality and Safety and Human Resources figuring strongly. From 1995, until I left the business - by which time it had become Unipart Rail - I was a member of the Executive Committee and also served on Unipart Group-wide committees.

Since 2007 I initially working with a couple of new start up businesses, drawing on my experience to help them become established. Today I work almost exclusively with my son David, helping him to promote and market his Photography business and support in things other than the actual taking of photographs. I leave that to the expert!
