David Trees: Biography

Ever since I started selling Brown Goods (TVs, VCRs, hifi) in Australia, aged 15, I've been passionate about sales, about providing excellent customer service and training other people to learn those skills.

I've worked in all sorts of sales situations, from the tough world of retail electrical sales, the tougher world of mobile phones and now I see an opportunity to develop social media products, with the help of Profile Builder.

Keen on technology (yes, I even own an ipad...), but only to the extent of embracing it where it provides a tangible benefit, I love exploiting the possibilities of how the web can help businesses punch above their weight.

I get a kick out of helping people to succeed: Zig Ziglar said; "If you help enough people get what they want, you will have what you need in the end"; it's a favourite saying of mine and it reflects my core motivation for sales and training.

I also love networking, social media and anything that helps me to connect with people and their services or products. I am actively involved in a leadership role with 4Networking in Ashton-under-Lyne + visit groups across Greater Manchester.
