Libroediting offers a friendly, quick and personal proof-reading and copy-editing service. I am happy to work on anything from a letter to a PhD; I'm experienced in working with academic texts at various levels, non-fiction books, novels and websites, marketing materials, letters and emails, and more. The format can be a Word document, a PDF or a web page. Unlike some services, I'll never just run your work through a spelling and grammar checker; I look at every word, every paragraph, and I can either make changes for you or suggest changes and let you choose what to alter. I'm happy to work with a paper copy or remotely via email.
Web designers - I can work with you to provide text for your web pages, leaving you free to concentrate on the design and performance of the pages themselves.
Virtual assistants/secretaries - talk to me about handling projects or overflow work for you.
Now offering transcription services - save yourself time and money by sending your audio files to me to be typed up and sent back to you as a tidy Word document.
I'm a qualified librarian with an English degree and I'm only working part time at my day job now - but with email on the go via my phone I can always be contacted for a quotation or a time scale.

I'm a qualified librarian with an English degree, living in Birmingham. I soft-launched Libro, working part-time for a while, but have been full-time with the business since December 2011. I love helping people's words come across as well as possible, while still retaining their individual style, whether that's helping with their writing, writing materials for them, working with non-native speakers of English, editing books, or transcribing meetings and webinars. My work experience as a librarian, marketing and contracts manager and dictionary editor has helped me develop my writing and editing skills.
