About me : I'm mad about modern jazz e.g. Pat Metheny. I play the piano a lot (jazz and classical) and I compose music for fun. I try and spare a week each year to hit the pistes in resorts such as Les Trois Vallees and Portes du Soleil. My partner, Caroline, prefers the cross-country variety. The skiing bug is understandable when I tell you that I spent 7 years in the eighties living in Switzerland, working for ABB (developing tools for software development and QA). Since leaving Switzerland I have worked mainly in e-commerce, working for companies such as CSC, Easams and GEC-Marconi. But since October 2002 I have been involved with my own business - Alcander Ltd. which provides Internet Marketing Services. More recently, I have started up Sociarise which is targetted at referral agents (and those who don't know what a referral agent is) and Elegant CMS.
