Under the 2007 Corporate Manslaughter Act, an employer must assess the risk that a driver faces on the road.
Protective measures must be put in place to minimise the risks. If an employee was killed whilst driving for work (or kills someone else) and the employer is unable to prove that they protected the staff member from the risks, consequences can be severe .
Individual board members and others who are responsible for the failures can be prosecuted and potentially face prison. Financial penalties could be 10% of the organisations annual turnover!

Prior to this, I was a social worker for a number of years and the people skills I learnt there really help me when I talk with exisiting and potential new clients.
In my work, I love the buzz I get from training people and seeing the change of attitude towards safer driving. Road safety can be a little dull, if the message is delivered in the wrong way.
