Steev Stamford (2nd Exit Driver Training)
I am a fully qualified DSA ADI driving instructor but prefer to call myself a driver trainer. An instructor instructs and to me this implies a 'Do as I say' approach. I train and to me this implies the transferring of knowledge and understanding. I do not teach 'how to drive' I teach 'why'. Crucially I believe there is a difference.
I am also on the DSA Fleet Driver register which mens that I am able to carry out driver assessment and training for business drivers and hold both HGV1, PSV and Certificate of Professional Competence certifiates for both classes of licence.
I train :-
For L test, trailer (B+E) test, taxi test and the ADI qualifying tests.
I provide :-
Road risk management consultation, driver assessment, driver trainig, defensive driving and eco driving skills.
I get 15% more mpg from my car than the official figures, this saves me on average over £450 a year. I can teach you and your drivers to do the same.
I have held a clean driving licence since 1982, never having accumulated a point or parking ticket. Since then I have passed my HGV, PSV, basic Police driving test, RoSPA test, ADI driving test, ADI teaching test, DSA Fleet drivers test and DSA coaching test. I worked as a Special Constable for Derbyshire Constabulary for 12 years with a particular interest I'm sure you'll be surprised to hear - in traffic.
I freely and happily describe myself as a traffic anorak.
In addtion to my freelance work I provide ADI training, business support & development advice for a national driving school.
I am a firm believer that there are not traffic accidents - but there are far too many collisions.

Last year around 800 people were killed whilst driving for work.
I asses and train drivers to reduce this risk. Consultations on road risk management also available.
