Hello, I'm Mark Currie and I've worked as an art director and creative director for national and international advertising and design agencies, in London, Cairo and Leeds. I've helped businesses, big and small for over 25 years: TV commercials and corporate films for 3M, Nike and Proctor & Gamble, to my local community group and wedding boutique.

I love being active, playing sports, especially football.

I love Thunderbirds, The Simpsons, chocolate Minstrels, Everton FC, odd-ball comedians, raspberry pavlova and Guinness.

I love films, the more quirky and off-beat, the better.

I love my family and friends. I love playing the fool and playing tricks on my family and friends. 

I can never completely switch off. I'm always thinking about new ideas for  film scripts, books and more besides. Whether they're any good or not is irrelevant. It makes me happy and the person I am.

I like running, swimming and playing pool, but don't do these things nearly enough.

I like sleeping, but just can't get enough.

I like the idea of long holidays, but never quite find the time.

I love the sea.

I like meeting new people, getting away from people, watching people and avoiding people.

I like inspirational quotes.

I like Weegmanns pork pies (Otley in Yorkshire).

I like the idea that my best days are still ahead of me.
