We do this by facilitating "think tank" style board meetings were non competing business get together to share their collective knowledge and experience with their peers.

This is supported by business analysis tools to evaluate current performance against key objectives and relevant importance to overall success.
Strategic planning is then applied to align the business with the owners personal and company vision.
This is supported by one to one coaching on a monthly basis.
I am the owner of the The Alternative Board in Edinburgh and Fife.
I have had a successful career in FMCG and most recently as CEO of the Real Good Food Co plc,a £234 turnover foof manufacturing group.
My experience spans a number of core disciplines from operational,commercial management to strategic planning.During my 27 years in industry my specialist areas have focussed around business development,rationalisation and turnaround scenarios.
Having originally trained as an engineer,I progressed to General Management at the age of 30,becoming General Manager of a large manufacturing facility within the RHM group.I held a number of Operational and Commercial Director roles before becoming Managing Director of my first business within the Hazlewood group.During my career I have built new factories and as MD Golden West Foods ran the entire McDonalds UK supply chain.
I have a Diploma in Management Studies with Strategic Marketing.I graduated from Warwick Business School executive programme and attended Templeton College Oxford studying corporate finance.In 2010 I became a Master of Nuero Linguistic Programming to further develop my coaching skills.
I have a passion for delivering superior results for both businesses and individuals.I focus on complete alignment within the business to ensure it is capable of delivering its strategic plans.
A key element of my focus is development of customer strategies,satisfying market demand and differentiating from the competition.
