Buchanan & Co has evolved from the merger of LHC Solicitors Family division with another Law firm in January 2011.
LHC's Trusts, Wills and Estates department did not transfer and so on the 9th February 2011, Buchanan & Co was born.
The Buchanan & Co team consists of the original LHC team which have a wealth of experience along with our two Solicitor/Partners we offer an extensive legal service.
We have Two Offices, one in Kiveton Park, Sheffield and our Head Office in Staveley, Chesterfield. We maintain a very active networking service with other specialist legal services and as such can provide all our clients with a full range of legal advice.
Buchanan & Co offer a full Will writing service on a personal one to one basis.
Currently we prepare your Will from only £30. Yes £30 and from that point you add the particular requirements, i.e. trusts, guardians etc. and related cost, to formulate the Will which suits your life’s requirements.
We also offer free storage for the life time of your Will with us if you register the Will with the only Solicitors Will registration scheme on the market. This is peace of mind for your loveones if the can't find your copy Will, a quick enquiry with a local Solicitor will establish where the original is kept.
It was estimated that in 2010, 200,000 people died intestate (without a Will) of which over half had their will recovered after the estste had been distributed.....did the right people get the inheritance?
