I have a passion for making a difference. With more than 20 years’ experience of acquisitions, mergers and business turnaround work, this passion, combined with an affinity for people, has brought me some great results and built strong and motivated teams.
At the age of 20, discovering that high standards in customer care and service excellence were what excite me, I ended up leading the team of service engineers that had previously trained me.
As a service and Technical Director I have managed teams at national level, optimising processes, reducing costs, maximising margins and integrating companies.
I specialise in project and change management but really get excited when I see an opportunity to improve and simplify business procedures and service standards.
I am the founder of Redwood and have drawn together a team of down to earth specialists who also love to support businesses through growth.
Outside of work I am a convert from London townie to West Country boy (much to my surprise). I love playing golf, but want to improve. A couple of years ago I started gun-dog training with our working cocker spaniel. I have also caught the sailing bug, having recently completed my “competent crew” course. I love live music and my wife is a singer songwriter in her spare time.
