Elly Cain (Essex Cares)

We are a not for profit organisation that used to be part of Essex County Council and branched off on our own to become the local authority trading company.

We offer a range of services across Essex. These are venue hire and conference facilities, catering services on sites and delivering to external sites, cafes and coffee bars, printing services, plant sales and various fund raising events.

We have venues and conference facilities in Chelmsford, Braintree, Clacton, Colchester and Messing. We have several catering sites that can deliver your buffet to you with several different menu options and dietry requirements catered for.

Our printing services can do your business cards, posters, letterheads, compliment slips, leaflets and newsletters.

We regularly hold plant sales in the nicer months and sell a range of plants, flowers and fruit. We also hold famers markets and summer BBQ's to help us with fund raising.

We have other sites as part of our organisation that support adults with learning difficulties and at these centres they are supported to learn skills to support them in a work environment and other activities to also help them to develop and we run day centres for older people across the county as well.

I am currently a PA and co-ordinator for Essex Cares. I provide support to a director and team of managers and also promote the services we offer here at Essex Cares.

I have been with the organisation for 18 months and enjoy being part of a company that supports the community and uses the income we generate back into improving our services to enable us to provide more support to all of our services which enables us to deliver a professional and fantastic service to all of our clients.

I have worked in the third sector and not for profit organisations for most of my career and also worked for the prison service offering rehabilitation and training services to help prisoners gain skills and qualifications on release.

I have worked in a training and conference environment for many years and have alot of experience in managing events and facilitating conferences.

I am very organised and pride myself on going above and beyond my role to provide a professional and tailored service to meet clients needs.

I have a proven history of great client relationships and continue to devlop this all the time.
