We are a specialist travel clinic that helps travellers protect their health whilst abroad. Our nurses are extensively trained in travel medicine and provide vaccines, anti-malarial medication and preventative health advice that is specific to each client. It is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain travel advice on the NHS and our flexibile appointments system ensures that you can choose to atttend our clinic at at time that is convenient to you. We also understand that trips abroad can occur at short notice and whilst we would advise that you get travel advice at least 6 to 8 weeks before you travel, the important point to remember is that it is better to get travel vaccines even at the last minute rather than none at all.
I have been nursing since 1990, specialising in travel medicine since 2001. Prior to working within travel health, I was a Charge Nurse within Accident and Emergency and in an quest to discover a nursing job that did not involve night shift, I discovered the joys of travel medicine. I have been running The Travel Clinic since 2003, completing the Diploma in Travel Medicine along the way.
When I am not running the clinic I can be found running after my young daughter.

Based at Glasgow Airport, we are a travel clinic that provides vaccines including yellow fever, rabies, hepatitis B, hepatitis A, typhoid and japanese encephaltitis and Malarone anti-malaria tablets.
