HSC Partnership is sister company to AF Consulting a well established multi disciplined Health and Safety Consultancy.
As the recession started to have an impact it became very obvious that Health and Safety was one of the elements that was dropping off the budget radar. It's a dangerous game to play and get wrong, but the costs of employing the professionals often mean that the smaller business has to make that dangerous choice.
As a business with an conscience AF Consulting devised a way that the smaller businesses could still get the expert professional advice, still comply with all the red tape that surrounds Health and Safety and even save themselves money with their insurers.
HSC Partnership was formed to supply and market a really innovative product called THE HEALTH AND SAFETY COMPANION, an online Safety Management system which allowed the small business not only to comply with the laws of health and Safety, but also understand why they had to do it.
The biggest single task was to make it affordable..... with consultants charging fees ranging from £400-£1000 per day how could a product be produced that encompassed all of the areas that a micro/small business would need for a price that was less than a consultants day rate. Well we did it , for a one off cost of £300.00 plus Vat, or a monthly fee of £27.50 Plus Vatl we produced a fully comprehensive, fully auditable, easy to use, easy to understand Health and Safety system that covered all the bases.
Visit our web site www.healthandsafetycompanion.com and learn how easy it can be to rest easy knowing that you are compliant.
I am married to Andy (who is my partner in HSC Partnership and AF Consulting) and have three boys, youngest now 20 so off my hands, well almost .
I live in a fantastic part of the country in the Forest of Dean and really enjoy all that rural living has to offer. (Except when it snows, and we get cut off!!)
My passion is supporting a cause very close to my heart and that is a charity called the Warrior programme. It is a charity set up to deal with Post Traumatic Stress for our lads and lasses serving, or have served, in the Armed Forces. My midddle son has been medically discharged from the Army after having served in Afghanistan and returned physically ok but mentally shot to pieces. He suffers from PTSD and I can talk first hand about the devastating effects PTSD can have on a young soliders life.
The Warrior programme picks up the pieces and gives help and tools to be able to cope with this awfull condition. If you would like to know more or would like to donate
