At thebestof hammersmithandfulham and thebestofkensingtonandchelsea we provide highly effective local marketing solutions for the best local businesses. We are part of the local community, we bring local consumers and businesses together and do everything we can to help people to support each other.
We can provide advice and consultancy to any business and then execute tailored requirements in any chosen media. We feature businesses on our own very popular local website, we also work closely with our colleagues in neighbouring thebestof areas and feature clients on more than one site. We hold regular and very popular evening networking meetings, we distribute mailers and vouchers, we give guidance on social media, SEO, we build websites, we create radio and TV campaigns. As part of the KnowHow Marketing group, we know how.
Clients come to us when they want to increase their profile locally, to reach out to new customers beyond word of mouth and beyond their immediate vicinity and our job is to deliver new customers cost effectively.
The business started in Hammersmith in September 2010 (although is part of a big national franchise) and is growing quickly. We acquired K&C in July 2011
I have worked in the advertising and marketing industry in London for nearly 30 years.
I joined my first agency - In Fulham on the New Kings Road - after graduating from Oxford with an MA in PPE.
I've been responsible for some of the largest advertising accounts for the big london agencies including Halifax, Royal Mail, Camelot and McDonald's. I started one of London's original web agencies back in 1995, I have been a global marketing director for an ISP and I've run my own businesses.
I'm also a non-executive director of the Prompt Payer Register - a business designed to help small companies maximise their cash position and thrive in any market condition.
Two things brought me out of advertising to do what I do now.
- A love of digital marketing, and an understanding of the impact it has/will have on the way companies create empathy with clients
- A passionate belief that SME's deserve exactly the same quality of service, level of experience and integrity of advice that big companies get.
