As a Business Angel & Mentor, I am dedicated to helping Kent based start-ups beat the odds by nuturing and supporting them through the early stages of business life. I am particularly interested in supporting female entrepreneurs and those in the technology sector.
I have over 25 years experience at running and starting up successful companies. I also have grant funding experience, and am willing to have involvement if required. I also have Mentor status with the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs.
Educated at Dover Grammar and Canterbury Technical College, I have a background in manufacturing and electronics.
From 1988 I was Director and Company Secretary for an Audio Visual company, building it from a small family business to an International multi-million pound company. I currently run my own Consultancy business specialising in Human Resources and Health and Safety advice to support small companies - providing an out-sourced HR Officer role where required.
I am a keen networker in the local area, having run one of the local groups last year and I am a member of Entrepreneurs Circle, having achieved Entrepreneur of the month at my regional branch.
