''After qualifying in fashion design, I built a successful career in retail management before establishing my own successful retail recruitment consultancy over 12 years specialising in the Retail sector offering UK coverage for clients including House of Fraser, the Arcadia Group, IKEA and Burberry.
Both Clients and Candidates told me that they valued my honesty and integrity, that I listened and always kept in contact to let them know what was going on. They felt they had a strong trusting relationship and that I always offered a quality service
Recently, I’ve indulged a passion of mine, building-up a property portfolio in the Colchester area, and helped set up an estate agency dealing with houses at “the top end of the market”.
Right now – I’ve a decision to take. Do I want to go in the direction of recruitment, property or a completely new challenge?

Over the last 2 years I have undertaken work on a consultancy bases and also worked as a Project Manager with a Training Company sourcing work placements for international students undertaking NVQ’s and Degrees and marketing available training courses. Then most recently I followed my interest in property combined with experience of the service sector I helped launch Alexandra Rose Estates, Homes of Distinction

I love wildlife and travelling. Over the years I have been lucky enough to visit some wonderful places including Uganda and Rwanda, trekking the mountains tops to catch a glimpse of the great Mountain Gorillas plus spending time in an Chimpanzee orphanage and sanctuary. Adventures have included Borneo with Orang-utans as well asback-packing with a bit of luxury thrown in in Bali, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia and have a real passion for Italy and was married in Lake Orta
My Husband, Ian, and I are VW Enthusiasts and have a 1964 Split Screen Devon which we’ve had for about 6 years. We launched a website specialising in VW Gifts and Accessories about 3 years ago and during the spring and summers months we attend VW Events and Show up and down the country, meet up with other V Dubbers that we have met over the years and chill. When I get chance I love entertaining with a passion for home interiors and home improvements which included our current project, our home! It’s an old farmhouse set in two and a half acres, a huge on-going renovation but we love it. Also like to just get away from things, open space and countrysise and adore walking, both locally and around many parts of the UK
