FiSK(NW) Fitness in Stockport is a new business formed in September 2011. The owner Eamonn Greene is a freelance personal fitness trainer working with people in the Stockport, Manchester and Cheshire area.  Eamonn works with people of all ages but specialises with the Over 50 age group having recently reached that milestone himself. He believes that people in this age category feel more at ease working with someone who has similar values, interests and life experiences. Although Eamonn does have access to gym facilities he is keen to work with people who don't necessarily like gyms and would prefer to train at home, outdoors or with a smaller group. He has a wide range of equipment that can be adapted to suit everyone. So whatever your fitness goal be it to have more energy, drive and confidence to tackle lifes daily challenges or to get in shape for a family occassion please contact Eamonn to arrange a free consultation. His contact number is 07985 194957 or e-mail at eamonn@fitnessinstockport.co.uk

About Eamonn Greene

After 30 years working for the government of the day as a Civil Servant I have now taken the plunge into the world of self employment. This was in part forced on me as part of the currrent goverments public sector cuts. However I now see this as a great opportunity. My background in the civil service is varied and has included a number of interesting jobs including International Trade support, working with SME's and latterly working with small community based organisations to improve their local communities.

What has this got to do with anything you may ask, well, throughout that time the one constant is that I have always enjoyed working with and meeting people. When I knew that I would be leaving the civil service I wanted to do something that would involve people. Fitness has always been a passion of mine and the world of fitness training had a great appeal to me. I left the civil service at the end of May 2011 and spent 6 weeks in the summer training to be a Level 3 Personal Trainer with Premier Training International.

My interests are Sport particularly football and athletics, travel, reading and  learning Spanish. Oh and I have a fondness for red wine ! (come on, everyone has to have a vice !)
