Control B started in November 2001 with the aim of servicing the web design and development requirements of SMEs both locally and nationally. More recently, Control B partnered with I-Media/Briggs Online in Australia to produce web sites for their clients.

With a degree background in Media and IT, Brett's decision to not become a filmmaker was borne from the lack of readily available jobs in that field. Taking instead the IT route, his career trajectory took him through desktop publishing and graphic design, until in 1998 he began developing web sites in time for the global Y2K to not happen. He became Design Manager of a pioneering web prediction and voting games dotcom in 2000, but decided to go out on his own and form Control B in November 2001 when they eventually stopped paying him.

Brett loves travel and will happily tell you about the wonders of Iceland or driving through the Nevada desert if you give him half a chance.

Once a writer for London's 6degrees, one of the UK's first film and film-related review and feature web sites, Brett still loves the opportunity to go to the movies for free and be taken out for drinks afterwards. He has been published twice by Creation Books and reviewed favourably by complete strangers. One of his favourite parts of town is Frith Street - mention Karaoke Box Soho or Garlic & Shots and watch his eyes light up.

Brett used to like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain, but now prefers Doom Bar and already being indoors.  He keeps fit by running and lying about his weight.

Brett lives and works in Harrow, and is married with two children, a boy and a girl.
