I set up Mill Lane Management Services to aid manufacturing businesses at a time where cost cutting has left most businesses "resource thin" when it comes to completing projects for growth or where there is a need to review the business and make changes, no matter how unpalatable.
My experience in this field comes from 15 years of running factories all over the world. I have managed multi-country, multi-culture plants in the UK, Sweden and China in FMCG, injection moulding and plastic recycling industries and therefore have knowledge of manufacturing, engineering and maintenance, purchasing, Health & Safety, ISO9001 and project management. I am a qualified work study engineer and a PRINCE 2 qualified project manager.
Since I set up my business I have helped other companies with Disaster recovery planning, factory moves, project managed circa £2 million worth of investment projects and used capacity modeling to show businesses where they can or have to make savings.
