I'm married and living in Hampshire. I have a daughter and have just become a grandad.

Bad news - I am a failed wannabe pro footballer and rock guitarist! Good news - I have had success in my business life (plan B)!

Before Alchemy SME Consulting, I spent 5 years working in mergers and acquisitions for a firm of Chartered Accountants in East London. I throughly enjoyed working closely with business owners and loved negotiating deals - hence the birth of my own business. I have now formed Solent Mentors with Dave Symondson to provide coaching and mentoring services to businesses throughout the South Of England.

Prior to that, following the sale of my previous business, I went sailing with my wife for three years, including spending a whole year in the Caribbean. I learned the complete joy that freedom of that kind can bring, but also experienced moments of sheer terror!
