About Suk Dhillon

I suppose this is where i get to spout a little bit about me.
Where shall i start?
My diverse career started in a factory whilst i was studying Law at University. I was making cardboard boxes.. i know people...... someone had to make them. I used to feed machines with flat board that would cut, glue and fold the box at a rate of 2 per second. Hair raising stuff i know.
I soon got bored of the monotony of feeding machines but didnt want to be a jobless student as i had been debt free thus far. Being the young wild man that i was i crashed my fathers car........ i was definately flavour of the month, escaping several assasination attempts from my father i took him to the local Honda garage with a cheque from the insurance company. My father did not want to spend a penny over the £11k that we got for the car. To cut a long story short we left the garage with a order form for £23000 for a brand new car. On the way home i was left bemused on how we got "sold a car" without being "sold to". The seed was sown and i was hooked. I wanted in.
I gave my CV to every car garage in the local area but no one would give me a chance :( I then had a light bulb moment .......... PING !! "get your foot in the door Mr Dhillon " the voice said.
So i applied for a weekend receptionist position that was vacant in Honda Bexleyheath. After a convincing almost begging for the job interview they gave me the job. woop woop.
I then took up my post as a weekend receptionist and sold my first car in my first month. My boss gave a cordless phone so that i could answer the phones whilst on the forecout. After 3 months i was selling more cars then some full time sales people and was earning some serious money. Being young and a little bit naive left university much to the dissapointment to start as a full time salesman.
Life was GOOD..... I had a brand new company car every 3 months and was earning BIG money. Word soon got round and i was approached by a garage in Canterbury selling Mazda and Hyundai. They made me an offer that i would be stupid to turn down so i decided to work there.
Life was tiring... with the commute and working almost 7 days a week things soon started taking its toll. After an attempted car jacking i again started to question my career choice. I also was settling down so needed to free up some time for my other half. I decided to leave the cars and got married and went on honeymoon.
When i got back reality soon hit. i was jobless and i had turned my back on a successful career as a car salesman.
Life was being pondered.... I was approached by a debt collection agency who wanted my skills to collect money from clients. So then it started, i became a DEBT Collector. not the best decision i made and after a couple of death threats and being constantly verbally abused i thought i would leave before i lost faith in the human race.
Life was good again.... Leaving the debt collection behind i decided to start selling again. I became an insurance brooker. I loved it. unfortunatley the business went BUST 1 month before my son was born.
Out of work i didnt know what to do next until i got a call from Accounting Freedom. They wanted me to become a new business manager for them. After months of training and explaining what an Accountant does i finally was confident enough to talk to people.
I then joined 4 networking as a group leader of Bluewater. My relationship with Accouting freedom went downhill so i left. With the power of 4 Networking within 3 weeks i had 4 job offers. Things were good. It was then that i took up my post with Stiddard as a Business development manager and an area leader looking after Sevenoaks and Bluewater. That takes me bang up to today, so let the new adventure begin......................
