I am a freelance VAT Consultant, providing cost effective solutions for SMEs and charities.

VAT is a complex tax, with a lot ot UK and European legislation, and a growing body of case law. With the standard rate at 20%, and a range of penalties, life can become very expensive. I have more than 25 years of experience in VAT, and can help guide you through the minefield that is VAT.

I provide email and telephone support. I can review correspondence and assessments received from HMRC.

I am happily married to Alison. We live in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, quite close to the A14, one of the UK's busiest roads. We have two delightful sons, Sam and Jonny.

We make frequent visits to friends in Malawi, southern Africa. Robert & Eunice lead a group of churches, run an orphanage and two schools. We are part of a growing UK team which is providing holistic and increasingly sustainable support for these lovely folk.
