CMC are a firm of business advisers who specialise in helping you, as a business owner-manager, to plan and prepare for every stage of your business’s life cycle.
We have over 20 years experience in consultancy helping businesses of all sizes, providing support for clients involved in the complex relationships and transactions of business changes including succession plans and exit strategies.
We also match you to the right level of professional support for your needs, using the skills of our network and taking the risk out of crucial phases of the development of your business.
With over 25 years as an IT professional, including 13 years consulting for 2 of Europe's largest IT & systems integration companies, I decided to 'eat my own cooking' and jumped ship. This meant I ended up working for several USA based financial services companies who wanted someone based in the UK to look after their IT systems, infrastructure and applications for their European based users and customers during the time when USA slept.
Also I set up and became one of the founding directors for a number of IT start ups, one major one went through 3 rounds of external investment and then sold as a trade sale to a USA company. I learnt many lessons the hard way, by experience.
I love working with talented and motivated individuals and teams, and have been very lucky (read worked very hard) in being part of several of these teams. This is why I want to work with owner managers in their businesses growing them and getting the rewards they deserve for all the effort, risks, hard work, etc. they have invested in their businesses.
Originally from just outside Belfast I have lived in West London since 1982. I have 2 daughters; I am very proud of them (even though they have given me my white hair) and enjoy with my wife the pleasures of Richmond, Twickenham and West London.
