As a cloud bookkeeper we are trained to use the latest cloud based Sage line 50 software and we also work with Xero, Kashflow, Freeagent and Clear Books bookkeeping softwares.

In a previous life I worked for a parcel delivery company climbing  my way up the management structure and getting involved in all aspects of running a busy depot – from man management, training, management accounts to performance reviews for individuals and the depot.  I also spent sometime working in the warehouses of customers with whom we had large delivery contracts to help create a seamless and efficient service to their clients.

 

Whilst enjoying a career break to bring up a young family, I’ve been gainfully employed teaching the piano to private pupils and in a school.  I still continue to do some teaching which I thoroughly enjoy. Before returning to the commercial world, I spent 2 years studying for my Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) qualifications.

 

 I’ve always been a musician and, having won a music scholarship in the 6th form, I studied music and geography at university.  I also play the oboe, although this has been sidelined ever since I bought a bassoon in 2004.  I now play the bassoon regularly in a local community band and have discovered the highs (and lows) of performing in windy bandstands!  When I’ve had more time to practice I’d love to play the bassoon in an orchestra. 

 

The rest of my spare time Is spend nurturing my 3 children (I don’t even want to know how many miles I spend in the car every week taking them to various music and dance lessons and rehearsals). Pilates provides a welcome break from everything – no phone or computer, just  a weekly challenge to my stomach muscles!
