Chartered Accountants based in South Manchester providing advice and assistance to owner managed businesses of all types, sizes and sectors. Particular expertise in Charities and the voluntary sector in general.
I qualified with Price Waterhouse & Co. Manchester (now part of PWC) in 1982 having completed my degree in Management Sciences at UMIST in 1978. On qualifying I worked as a management accountant in a variety of industries, including food packaging, vehicle hire and flower import/export, where I gained a broad experience. I joined Langer & Co in 1995 where I specializes in company and charity audit and accounts as well as Solicitor Accounts, ABTA and IATA rules.
On a personal; level I have always been involved with the voluntary sector, initially with church and scouting then, as our children grew up, in Swimming clubs, scouting again, church, rugby clubs and Lancashire RFU. I am also engaged in promoting sport in schools through the provision of coaching support.
I have wide experience both running and advising volutary organisations of all shapes and sizes and am very happy to talk to groups (and groups of groups) about organisation and strategy.
