The Alternative Board helps business owners and CEO's to make better and well informed decisions. 

We do this by facilitating board meetings were non competing businesses get together to share thier collective knowledge and experience with their peers.  This is supported by business analysis tools to evaluate current performance against key objectives and relevant importance to allow Strategic planning to be applied aligning the business with the owners personal and company vision.  This is all supported and and cemented by a monthly one to one coaching session.

At Impact for Growth we have adapted some of our methodolgies and prinicples to work seamlessley within the Franchising Industry.  Having worked in this industry for a few years now specialising in Franchise Recruitment, trading as MatchPoint Network, Sonia has worked with over 60 franchisors, at any one time with their models, systems and people, finding the right franchise business for the individual and company.  She has been able to coach, develop and often mentor aspriring business owners, resulting in a great business match as well as promotions and life refocusing.  At Impact for Growth Franchising we also repair, build and maintain franchisor/ee relationships, work to enhance and support the sales process and instill a culture of open communication, avoiding those niggles blowing into a full grown issue.  We have the view if the people are informed and happy, positive business growth will happen.

Sonia is a talented business coach, NLP practitioner, entrepreneur & businesswoman with a wealth of multi sector experience and a passion to make a difference.  Sonia is owner of her own Matchpoint Network franchise, Associate Director with the Alternative Board, Edinburgh & Fife and with her partner runs their own business, Impact for Growth.

Sonia has had a successful career across the Manufacturing (Johnson & Johnson), Electronics (Motorola) and Financial Service (RBS) industries and has had the opportunity to make significant impacts in different divisions and countries across Europe.  Her skills span a number of core disciplines from Continuous Improvement, Coaching and Development through to Change and Process Optimisation. During her 15 years of corporate life Sonia specialised in business growth, process optimisation and people development.  During the past 3 years Sonia moved into the Franchising industry to help aspiring business owners to find the right franchise opportunity for them.  More recently as Associate Director with the Alternative Board, Edinburgh & Fife, Sonia has facilitated existing business owners to form peer advisory Boards & has coached them in the development of their goals & visions.

With an infectious & vibrant personality & a genuine honest interest in people’s wellbeing & success, spending time with Sonia is an enlightening pleasure.
