Chicinteriorsoflondon is a high quality vintage distressed painting service.     During my years of interior designing I acquired a large amount of old dark wood furniture. What to do with it? The solution was to attain a high quality vintage distressed paint finish. The furniture then became desirable with a vintage chic french look, selling very well and creating a new set of clients by word of mouth whereby I continued to transform their own furniture which has carried on with new clients to this day!  Individual pieces of furniture are also for sale when in stock.

My past experience has always been in interior design beginning from an early age during my travels with my parents( residing for a number of years in East Africa, Italy, Singapore and London - just off the Portabello Road). Our homes were filled with large statement furniture, paintings and exotic ornaments all lovingly sourced to create chic rooms. Their love of interior design ultimately shaped the way I approached my own homes later on in life and when buying/renovating properties for clients. My passion is a mixed bag of antique, contemporary and vintage distressed furniture within a room where `old` meets `new` sitting happily together creating a chic yet comfortable environment .

However, , I acquired a large amount of old, tired looking furniture.   What to do with it, I asked myself?   The solution I came up with was to paint them  with a high quality finish.  Hence, through trial and error with various paints, I attained  a high quality Vintage Distressed  finish.  The furniture immediately became desirable, chic and a focal point . This has lead to my transforming clients`  own furniture.  Also individual pieces are available for sale when in stock.  Creating this transformation gives me great pleasure and satisfaction  and my passion is now to add a little of this opulence and chicness into every clients` home at a fraction of the cost of buying new!   Try me, you will not be disappointed!
