Born in London and schooled in Essex, I moved to Suffolk with my husband and young family in 1997, and I've spent most of my working time since then in the public sector...until recently! Having been lucky enough to be trained to Master Practitioner level in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) I decided to also train as a massage therapist to enable me to have a real understanding of the whole person, body and mind. I've diplomas in Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy, Indian Head massage and Sports Massage, and am going to study Reflexology in the autumn of this year. Neal's Yard has added another dimension and a business opportunity that I wasn't expecting. I love being self employed and in control of my own destiny, and I absolutely love the job satisfaction I get from my work now - a single client who gets off the massage couch and says 'that was wonderful' or a coaching client who tells me their life has turned around, is truly such a pleasure!
