About Jason O'Brien

I (Jason Caine O'Brien) have been involved with the funeral profession since 1991. I originally worked at the Co-operative Funeral Service, Union St West, Oldham, on a Youth Training Scheme. At age 18 years I progressed to a trainee Funeral Director and in 1997 was awarded the BTEC Qualification in Funeral Studies. In 2001, at age 25 years, I became a Branch Manager for the Co-operative Funeral Services in Droylsden. During the many years of service I have received copious amounts of training from Breavement Counselling to Funeral Planning. There are many facets to the role of the Funeral Director, from the dignified walk before the hearse to the middle of the night call to attend an emergency, but whatever the situation a profession attitude is essential at all times.

I have always aimed to be best as I serve the bereaved. I concider it a great priviledge to be entrusted with the care of their loved one. To some clients I will be the only Funeral Director they will choose. For this I am eternally greatful.
