My name is Melissa Cox and i am a freelance designer situated in Swansea.
I am a creative, skilled and an enthusiastic person who loves to take on new challenges as an individual but also as a team member with confidence. I am also determined and driven and take care and pride in my design work. Therefore have a keen interest in the design world, so am aware of current design progression and know how to put my skills into each project with initiative but also considering the clients needs.
I have worked within an illustration role was used for numerous DCELLS (Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills) projects where my work included illustrating and producing a set of 20 books for ‘Fflic a Fflac’ Welsh Language Development. These books are used throughout Wales in Primary schools where I attended many board meetings with the Welsh Assembly Government/DCELLS team for the production of these books. Also within a multimedia team I have produced Digital Illustrations for Interactive Flash Learning Games. The client was NGfl (National Grid For Learning).
When working as a website designer it included logo/ corporate identity, website from design through to the html/css build. Clients have included, Payzip (The payment collection software for Not-for-Profit Organisations) and Hammonds Group.
Other clients have included MFL (Modern Foreign Languages), ESDGC (Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship), Learn Direct also Horse and Country TV, Telesgop Multimedia Production Company, Iced2Slice, Maxident Dental, St. Richard Catholic High School, Eclipse Hair Studio, Dunvant Primary School, Learn To Pee Pottys and Langstones Work Wear. I also worked with a team of new media developers on websites such as Planet Science and Pharman Medical.
