Koje Solutions is a technology company based in Yorkshire, UK. We say technology company because we are, unlike most of our competition who class themselves as web designers, software houses or IT consultants. At Koje Solutions we combine expertise in a range of areas to help small to medium sized companies enhance their business through the use of technology.
I started my career working as a web developer at a reasonably large digital marketing agency in Leeds. Whilst I enjoyed the position and having the opportunity to work for some large corporations such and Proctor & Gamble I knew it wasn't the ideal job for me. In developer circles we use the term 'code monkey' to describe someone who codes what they're told and has no input. I wasn't prepared to be a code monkey any longer than I needed to be.
I then started Koje Solutions Limited. A little rushed you could say, 21 years old and self employed. In the world of tech though the more modern the knowledge and approach, the more effective the work. I established the company as a means of doing the thing I love most, programming, for the people who I knew would appreciate it most, SMEs. The fact I also get to work directly with clients to help plan projects which suit their needs whilst best utilising all my technical know-how is the icing on the cake.
Away from work, if there is such a thing when your home is your office. I'm an enthusiastic road cyclist (don't worry I don't run red lights), borderline-obsessive Formula 1 fan and occasional squash player.
