Successful online business until Northern Rock disaster in August 2008 where business collapsed overnight. Took time out to care for elderly mother and sister with cancer.

January 1995-1996 T/O Zero - £1.6 Million. IN the second year became Liesegang's largest distributor in the world.
January 2002 T/O £3.6 million. 17 employees.
During 2003 and 2004 the prices and margins were hit badly. Liesegang Germany ceased trading in August 2004 and with no prospect of any replacement product I had to wind the UK business up quickly. From this came AV4Business.

Steljes didn't have a Northern Operation when I joined them they were a small outfit at 333 Chiswick High Road above the timber merchants. They specialised in LCD panels that sat on an overhead projector (OHP) and showed your computer image, these were early days. I came to them because I had worked with some of the early adopters of this technology and seemed to know what I was doing.
I worked on a self employed basis until one day they got the UK distribution for InFocus LCD Panels. This changed everything and the business grew and grew. I brought the Liesegang distribution to Steljes so that we had high powered OHPs for our LCD Panels. By the January of 2004 the Northern Region's turnover equalled the South's. In August 2004, and after winning a massive contract with Barclays for rear projection for their X Windows training system, it was decided to integrate the region into the South and cut commissions, my position became untenable.
I had been offered the job of running Liesegang UK and at this point terminating the relationship became the only option.
