Where Do I Start..?

Where do I Start? - Overseas Property Investment with Cymru Solutions Ltd."

The world is a big place. Really big. You want to buy a property to give you somewhere to go and an investment for the future. But, the world is big (did I mention that already?), so where?

Now the traditional method is plenty of research, which is essential but can be counterproductive. No sooner have you read up on, say, Spain and think its the business than you catch a TV programme on Italy and you prefer the food there. Then your mate tells you about the amazing prices in Bulgaria and his friend says Egypt is the place to go. Before you know it, youre back at square one and more confused than when you started!

May I suggest the following approach

First - do you want to visit it regularly? If so - stick with somewhere with direct and relatively short flights from Cardiff or Bristol. Spain, Portugal, Greece, France are all great options. And it might seem obvious but pick somewhere you actually like!

If you are looking for a pure investment and dont care if you never see it, you need an area which has potential for substantial growth. Emerging markets such as Egypt, Bulgaria, Dominican Republic and Cape Verde fit the bill here.

Are you looking to eventually emigrate? New Zealand, South Africa, USA are all proving excellent options especially with the pound being so strong against their currencies.

Most people want a foot in two camps, a decent earner with cheap holidays. This is where it gets a bit complicated. To help with this we have summarised the main destinations with pros and cons in a booklet that is available free of charge from our offices or via email. This will allow you to make an informed decision. Pop in or email us on info@cymrusolutions.com and wed be delighted to supply you with one.

Our upcoming free seminar has been confirmed as 6th December at our offices in Porthcawl.
