South African Tax

South African tax is changing - lots of new processes are being implemented.

Keep watching my site for updates as they are released by SARS.

The tax submission date has been extended again to August and beyond - one wonders when the Revenue Service is going to get it's act together and settle down to normal practice.

In the new regime, some taxpayers will not have to put returns in if they have no claims.

This means that if you only pay to a pension fund or provident fund and have no other claims, then you will be exempt from submitting tax returns until your situation changes.

Stay tuned for more info.
