I park anywhere and exit car accordingly, limping or carrying a doll.

why are there always so many more disabled spaces than parent and child?

surely it should be the other way round?

You are obviously a parent with child.

I felt the same until I found I had to have both hips replaced with extensive bone grafts at aged 38.
Boy was I glad of the few disabled spaces around (not always for "old people"!)

There never is enough of either depending on which situation you are in.

why do s every one prefer to park out side MY house than anywhere else? and why do people park soo badly, there would be room for more if people parked straight and didnt take up 2 and a half spaces each!!! aaaarrrggghhhh.

i feel better now.

thanks.

In most towns, just some parking spots for anyone would help!!!...towns have declared war on the car, and this will benefit out of town businesses immensely!

I agree with Peter & Paul,

People can't park the smallest of cars!!

And try getting car park let alone a parking space wherre you can get your van in when it has a roof rack and ladder on it!!!

Having a disabled child doesnt alway mean you get a space - my sister gets very annoyed when all the disabled spaces are taken up by the able bodied and has even complained on a number of occasions only to be told that its too much trouble to try and move people on :-s
