4N has become a wonderful way to get yourself some easy SEO results, but can you confirm which sub-forums are crawled and which ones are not? Especialy, are Chit-Chat & 18+ off-limits to robots?

can we ban chit chat too - this although not 18+ is not always formal business chat and in some cases may not be what we want potential contacts to associate with our image.
Once they become members they can get to know us and realise we are all human - but just think that the ChitChat area is not business and therefore not really of benefit to my best mate Google.

My Google presence for HFH is the major part of my marketing. Quite happy for people to see wht I post on business topics, but Chat is me being me among friends.

That would be 64871 posts not indexed by Google. Quite a lot of content and from out stats we can see this is where a lot of people first come across the 4N site. At the end of the day this is a public forum and if you don't want something to be indexed, cached and sent around the Internet maybe it shouldn't be on there in the first place. We do have PMs, 4communities and now 18+ if you want to say something that you don't want the wider public to see.
If it shouldn't be seen by the general public then I would argue that it shouldn't be seen by the other 10,000 odd members on 4N either. This is why I personally note that every post I make anywhere on 4N represents me and the company I work for. I think a lot of people forget that sometimes.
I read things in both chit chat forums which will make me re-consider if I would want to do business with them or their company.
