A few days ago my batch of sauces arrived from Calypso. This afternoon I made a nice caesar salad and drowned it in the crushed pepper sauce. The next hour was to be very entertaining.

Tonight however my wife cooked a basic meal of chicken, rice and salad, the chicken was marinated in a medium jerk seasoning and I put a dabble of mustard sauce on the rice. I have to say the sauces transformed this bland meal into a gourmet feast.

If Calypso's line of sauces does not make it onto the shelves of supermarkets, there is no justice added to that the packaging is first class.

I would highly recommend the Calypso sauces to anyone.

Hi Dean

Do you do a starter pack to introduce me to the range?

I love spicy food - sadly the only one in the family who does so I don't often get the chance to enjoy but it may be that with your sauces I have an answer?

At the moment I get through tobasco like it was water!

Cheers

Tim

Tim, that is the best statement I've read for ages! Music to my ears/eyse (as I'm reading it!)

I can put together whatever you would like. Here's a suggestion:

1. Jamaican Crushed Peppers (very hot) more flavour than tobasco (IMO) and can be watered down with mayonnaise for a great dip, or add just a little to sauces/bolognaise etc to wean people on to it.

2. Jamaican Mild Jerk Seasoning - if for others. This you can add as little as a teaspoon and rub over chicken/fish/pork to give a wonderful flavour. You can increase the amount a little each time to gradually add heat each time. See Pete's comments on the chicken here If the Jerk Seasoning is you , go for the Hot or the Boston Bay Style Seasoning (hot and my favourite)

3. Or if you asking for something for you alone to add to your foods then try the Hot Table Sauces. These sre great for adding a little at a time to any dish until you find your level of heat and flavour. We have 4 of these so maybe an ideal starter, or feel free totake 1 or 2. I realyy don't mind and am happy to supply whatever you want to try - don't feel obliged to buy lots of different ones to start.

Tim, I forgot to mention that our Jerk Tomato Ketchup is great for people who don't like "hot" but would like a Totally Tropical Taste! (I know cheesy line, but if its good enough for a fizzy drink......)

Your family would love it if they like Ketchup. My boy is 6 and my girl is 5 - they love it.
