Apart from the appalling locum Group Leader, 4N Oxford this morning was an absolute triumph.
Our members (the two visitors I had booked in had decided to go online and join properly before coming!) emerged out of the dense fog that covered Oxfordshire this morning and into the warmth and comfort of the Longwall. After our fabulous Longwall breakfast, our emergency 4Sighter (hope you and yours are okay Simon T) Basil Mienie did something truly incredible.
He read us a list of twenty random items, which we weren't allowed to write down, then asked us to recall them in order, some of us remembered some of them.
Then he gave us a quick and easy memory technique, read the list again, then asked us to recall again. All of us recalled all 20 items in order. Fantastic.
Great meeting, lovely that we now see new members at every 4N Oxon meeting, without fail. If you want to meet some of them, drag yourself along, you know you want to.

I think everyone there will agree that Basil provided us with a unique and interesting slot, but the question has to be .......who will be brave enough to do the next one! Any takers????

I would, but I'm not around that week.
I wonder how many people can still remember all 20 in the right order???
