So, I’m working on a new project and the first chapter starts off in this kind of scenario. Keen to know what the people of 4N think of phone sex, and whether you've had it?
I'll start, I have - obviously the real thing is better, that goes without saying - but phone sex and/or pictures help when there's a distance involved.

Yep, phone sex with my (ex)husband before we lived together, and MSN sex when I had a kind of internet affair with a US marine stationed in Iraq!
You can make quite a lot of money working for phone sex companies, I hear.

Yes, but was he REALLY a marine? In fact, who cares just adds to the fantasy right! Hehe. I think I started to have "cyber sex" when I was 14, wrong I know, it was fun at the time but soon got a bit boring...
Times have changed now. Chat rooms aren't as popular now you've got applications like Yahoo & MSN Messenger, with webcams etc. I went in to a chat room to try and get men to go look at my blog, I did get asked a few times if I was a cam girl...! Didn't even know they existed but hey, why not make money out of what you've got!
As for phone sex lines, not sure what the rate is but there's a 4Ner who once did it, maybe they'll have some comments about it.

yeah, cam girls can make loads. I was on a forum a while ago to find out about it ...
He sent me pics of him in uniform, at least i think they were of him!! it was a really hot and steamy affair anyway, for a month or so. Very exciting!

Rate of pay ok, however, it really is hard work. Thinking up different scenarios over and over again drains the brain. The key is to keep them talking as long as possible, some were easier to keep talking than others and there were some really weird people who used to ring up. I once had a conversation with an older guy who was wearing a pair of knickers as he pottered around in his greenhouse. You also have 5 persona's and have to know which one they have rang, the mistress one was hard for me to do because telling a guy to lick my boots and then let me plough my stiletto into his chest wasn't my thing but some of them loved it. Calling me Mistress and stuff was a bit freaky, or when they said what do you want me to do mistress? Well ideally spend about an hour, telling me what you want me to do then I don't have to work so hard and can complete this wordsearch I'm doing, oh and make some money.
One of the most popular persona was when I was called Cheryl, I was ALWAYS just back from the gym, feeling hot....you get the drift.
