I don't neighbour. I couldn't give a shit what anyone else is doing in their life and I do keep myself to myself like a mad hermit, plus side to that for everyone is, they could run up and down the street naked, be a prostitute, hold swinging parties and I wouldnt give a toss.
But explain this, I went out this morning at 8.00am this morning and over the road stood my neighbour in her dressing gown chatting to her friend and she shouted to me: 'You're up early.'
What kind of random comment is that? Not a 'Good morning' no, a fucking observation of my life and my haphazard sleeping patterns. I am so pissed off I wasn't quick/rude enough to shout 'What's it to you, at least I am dressed you slovenly nosey piece of shit.'
Why are neighbours nosey? Have they no lives? Or are you a self confessed nosey, horrible person? Or am I just not a nice person who refuses to take the time to make sure my other neighbour doesn't have a panic attack if she cant get her car EXACTLY in line with her gate, by lying on the floor naked, warming her fecking space.

LOL!! My neighbour did exactly the same to me on Sunday morning! And she observes if I'm later getting home from picking the kids up from school! Why is she always in her front garden anyway???
My dad was one of those people who knew his neighbours routines off to a tee..he called it neighbourhood watch, i called it being a nosey bastard.

I hate my Mum jumping up and looking through her blinds. I love her to death but when she does it I have to just tell her straight that she is being ridiculous, I really don't get that mentality, but I'm odd and proud.

However, although I'm not a nosey person I do have a bit of an unhealthy interest in the chap across the road. Never known to have a girlfriend, lived with parents until they died and still lives in same house. Bit of an exercise junkie - always off out for a walk/cycle and a good body (shame about the face). Runs an entertainment agency from his home specializing in corporate event type stuff for the forces. i'm a bit intrigued about what makes him tick.

I actually have no interest in anyone other than my immediate family and even that interest is limited to only serious stuff

I'm a bit of a people hater. I'd rather my own company than a lot of people's! I can't BEAR other peoples kids --sometimes can barely tolerate my own! I do have lovely neighbours though!

We moved house because our neighbours were so nosey, it was doing my head in. She can see our current house from hers, and, when I was having some stuff delivered recently and had a 7.5 tonne van parked outside my house for a couple of hours, she went for a little walk, which she never ever does, past our house.
When we lived next door, she used to come out onto her drive whenever we had visitors arriving or leaving.

Oooh I am too thick and disinterested in stuff to be nosey ... I have trouble realising what is going on around me let alone next door!! I figure, if there is something I need to know someone will tell me.

Where we used to live My mum, my brother and I stopped our neighbour a few doors down from being burgled.
So being slightly nosey can help.
However our mates have neighbours how are properly nosey gits, they even sit in there upstairs windows listening to our conversations when we have BBQ's! How weird is that?
I hate not having quick comments to come back at people with NTC, especially when a really good one comes about 10 seconds after it's needed!
