kids cards are done but I need to nip out for some other stuff. Thank god for 24 hr shopping thats all I can say - its Tesco at Eastville or Asda at Cribbs. Needless to say my missus is none too impressed that I've left it until the last minute (again)

we don't do mother days, valantines day, christmas etc...

Just get stuff for the kids and their grandparents etc we don't like to give in to the commercial aspect of these aparant special days as far as each other are concerned...she does however secretly expect at least a card on valentines day!

Aww bless. You know the Americans have a "Grandparents day"... isn't "Mothers day" the only original day that wasn't for the whole commercial thing. I always thought Mothers day was the day where all the victorians or whatever who worked as servants etc went home to spend time with their families/ daughters...?
