CHIT CHAT [Hard Work]

For me 2 kittens.

omg its like having two babies.

They are doing my head in, I never remembered Alice my cat being so demanding. These two wake me up in the middle of the night, Lennox (the boy obv Axels) he follows me everywhere, climbs into my coat pocket climbs on my knee, if I ignore him he climbs up my back. I hate being harsh but ffs I had to shut him out of the room today, then he cried, made me feel bad so 'come back in, annoy me some more.

My world is a constant whirl of emptying litter tray, throwing 'Lennox' the clinger off my knee/laptop, telling the little girl kitten, that still has no name to stop crying, (how can one little thing make so much noise?) They are cute, they play ace, but it's fecking hard work.

What have you took on that you thought was easy but realised it was hard work?

They both on my lap now and look at me so adoringly, I feel awful for posting about them.

bastards

Oh come on Nic.  You love them really.

You ought to be glad you don't have a puppy as well as two kittens, you would have double trouble then

Melody (one of our cats), is always tormenting Luika (our puppy).  She sits in the basket under our coffee table and whacks him each time he goes past.  She actually drew blood the other day, the little minx.

Golf is bastard hard.  I don't know, I'm aces at Tiger Woods on the Xbox but can't take that form onto the real courses.

I came joint 12th in my first tournament at the weekend :(  It sucks, cos I'm used to being pretty good at almost all sports (useless at everything else though).

Golf does suck! You play 2 good shots, think yo've mastered it and then watch your next Tee shot dribble past the ladies tee.

Nic, I know what u mean! Our two kittens were VERY hard work. Mind you they didn't crap on the floor like the dog did when he was a pup. Oneof our kits sdly got killed on the road just after his 1st b'day, but the little girl is still going strong and attacking the dog at every opportunity.

We've decided to take on some more work and get a rescue dog! Went yesterday to Dogs Trust but no joy. Will be back later in the week!

Kittens are ace, I want one but we live near a busy road and have already lost 2 on it :o( Have still got 2 older cats who seem to have more sense. Puppies -well thats different, we have a 5 month old collie so far she has.... Eaten 2 pairs of shoes Terrorised the chickens Crapped on the landing Shredded a whole bag of straw that I left in the kitchen And finally, last night she chewed through the lead to my lap top! Luckily she chose the low power end and had a small shock, but I am now on my old computer, with no access to my emails :o( Sarah

Golf isn't hard, do what most guys do blame it on your clubs and flutter your eyelashes and get a lower handicap in your tournament. Oh soz, that's the Ladies section ;)

To all the other posters thanks. thought it was just me. I take taking on pets really seriously, but for the last 3 years been in dog mode and I was lucky, my angel Maddie (bearded collie) did not give me an ounce of trouble, only pure joy and still does. However, I have had to get back into cat mode whereby a cat does what the hell it likes, will not take orders like 'Oh get down Lennox/girl cat still un named' and aforesaid Lennox the tom cat, follows me everywhere, it's cute but wearing, especially at 3am when he wants to play and will not, cannot give up.  Girl cat, no issues she is ace but the tom cat, Jesus Christ, he wants constant attention.

Sound familiar girls?

As an aside what's your golfing handicap Flip?

Unfortunately it's 20, but I've only been playing six months.  And of course it's my stupid clubs.

Surely gettting a lower handicap would bugger up your chances of winning a trophy?
