I've been looking for some decent pics of cats and dogs at Christmas to use with an article I'm putting together ... animals in clothes is just wrong. I mean, there's just something not right with this picture:

But my favourite (read - worst) ever animal in clothes pic has to be this one:

Wrong wrong wrong!!!
Best wishes,
Alison

I totally agree. Dog coats for the elderly, young and dogs such as Greyhounds are fine, but PLEASE, not in flipping jumpers and such like.

Nina, the voice of reason, thank goodness!
When i was at school a friend had some big hairy dog and she and other friends used to love dressing it in her mum's underwear ... I just looked on, aghast. Wrong wrong wrong!!

The problem is Alison, that a lot of people see their dogs as surrogate children. Ultimately it is the poor dogs that suffer having to wear these stupid things grrrrrr
Would you put a wolf in babies clothing! Of course not. Sorry, but this is a pet hate of mine (like the pun)

Wouldn't dream of putting my springer spaniel in clothes, but our new dog is a sort of whippetty cross thing and looks like she might need a coat in the winter --it will be a waxed one though. My daughter on the other hand wants to buy it a pink spotty dress she saw in Pets at Home

I couldnt put Maddie in clothes, she gets moody if we laugh at her and Maddie dressed up would be just cruel.
